Does anyone have a good video or website for learning all aspects of Windage that does not include using a Kestrel? All I had is my weather app on the phone and that actually worked pretty good then people started confusing the matter by saying things like 10:30 & 11 o’clock and yada, yada, yada… i know they we’re trying to be helpful but it put me more in the weeds. Thank you everyone for your interaction on my last topic, is was awesome and a lot of videos, watched them all and then some.

I don't know if this will help. There is an app for your phone, GeoBallistics, that has some nice features. There is a free version and an upgrade for about $15. I would do some searches and find some youtube videos...

Good Morning. There are lots of good articles on Accurate Shooter. Here’s a link to an article from a series by the Army Marksmanship Unit. Has a graphic of the clock that might shed some light on one of your questions.

Also, try the high power wind lab app, let's you play with wind speed and direction, giving you an idea what flags might look like for a given speed and also shows a predicted aiming point for your givin bullet drift.

@tmann If I learned to shoot in Wyoming  I could shoot anywhere...we have some strong winds but we have enough calm days to get a feel for my rifle. It's mostly calm till the occasional hurricane comes tracking up from the Gulf of Mexico...

As a side note:
You will not find these by scanning Erik's channel as they are unlisted.
Erik makes these links available as a benefit to the subscribing members of the forum.
(i.e. this is the place to be. 😎 )

@tmann thanks fer posting had not seen these and I thought I saw all his videos I’ll check them out.

Any others on here that are unlisted ?

I guess I need to do a better job of searching or maybe someone can put all videos in one place someday.

Most of the ones here are unlisted.
Go to the F-Class reloading thread under Erik’s forum.  That’s where most of the wind reading stuff is.  You can also do a search on the forum.

What an overwhelming response from everyone thus far, looks like others will benefit as well, this really is a great community, hope it’s like this all the time amongst other competitive alpha males 🤣🤣🤣.
